For the 27th District
I am Jolene Bruce — a 27 year resident of District 27 and someone who has seen firsthand the challenges our community faces. I've raised my family here, built my career here, and I've watched as real problems went unaddressed for too long. That's why I'm running. My top priority is simple - no child should have to go to school hungry. The people in office right now voted against free school lunches and said it wasn't feasible, but I believe we owe it to our kids to find a way. I'm running because I believe in human rights, strong schools, mental health support, and healthcare that works for everyone. I didn't plan to run, but I feel like I have to. If we don't step up now, we're not giving the next generation the future that they deserve.
Jolene will be a fierce defender of dignity and equality for every neighbor. District 27 deserves a representative who shows up, listens, and follows through. No spin. No excuses. Just results.
When neighbors ask me why I'm running, my answer is simple: Let's fix it. Because we can, and because we should.
Change doesn't happen alone. It takes neighbors, friends, and community members willing to show up. Whether you have an hour or a whole weekend, there's a place for you on this campaign.
Every contribution — large or small — goes directly to getting Bruce elected and getting our district the representation it deserves. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
